Tane Martinez is a Producer-Editor and award-winning documentary director with over 20 years of experience creating high-quality content across television, digital media, and branded platforms. Born in Havana, Cuba and based in New York City, she brings a creative perspective rooted in her cultural background, lived experience, and foundation in theater. With a background in acting, Tane developed both creative and critical thinking skills, along with a deep understanding of dramatic structure—action, plot, characters, motivations, and genres. That experience shapes her editorial and directorial approach, giving her a strong instinct for pacing, emotional rhythm, and story development.

She specializes in bilingual (English/Spanish) content creation and brings a strong command of post-production workflows, from offline edits to final delivery. Her work spans a wide range of formats, from social media campaigns to long-form documentaries, always with an eye toward story and emotion.

Known for her creative versatility and strong editorial instincts, she’s worked with top media and agency brands including Time Inc., A+E Networks, Charter, Comcast, InDemand, Ketchum, and Ogilvy—consistently delivering content that’s engaging, visually polished, and strategically aligned.

As a director, Tane has completed five documentary films to date. Her work has earned multiple festival honors, including awards in Paris and Hollywood, and official selections in Cannes and New York.
